David B. Goss
Managing Principal and Managing Broker
David B. Goss has been involved in the real estate industry for over 25 years. Prior to co-founding Interra Realty LLC, David distinguished himself as a commercial broker and advisor representing property owners, banks, hedge funds, investment funds and individual purchasers. David has been involved in numerous acquisition and leasing transactions in the real estate sector during his career. He also served as a consultant to Wal-Mart Stores in connection with the disposition of surplus assets in the United States. David was a Senior Partner with Syndicated Equities, a real estate investment and brokerage company where he was a tax consultant to property owners desiring to reduce tax exposure in connection with the acquisition and disposition of assets and was involved in transactions in excess of $200 million. He was also involved in the asset acquisition and syndication programs at Syndicated Equities. Prior to Syndicated Equities, David was Vice President and General Counsel of Transco Inc. where he directed and oversaw all legal matters for the diversified transportation and utility services company. David started his career as an attorney in the real estate department of Rudnick & Wolfe (now known as DLA Piper), a leading national law firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and was a partner in the firm at the time of his resignation.
David holds a Jurist Doctor, Order of the Coif from the College of Law of the University of Illinois and an MBA and Bachelors of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed Real Estate Managing Broker in the State of Illinois.

Jon P. Morgan
Jon Morgan is a co-founding Principal of Interra Realty. He is focused on the disposition and acquisition of multi-family, office, and retail assets of all classes. Jon has also cultivated a niche representing a variety of financial institutions ranging from Fifth Third Bank, Harris Bank, MB Financial Bank, US Bank, PNC Bank and Park Federal Savings to name a few in the disposition of REO assets, shortsales, and mortage collateralized note sales. Jon’s entrepreneurial background enables him to assist clients in maximizing their investment real estate opportunities. His expertise includes multi-family, office, and retail assets of all classes. In 2008, Jon was named the Top New Investment Sales Broker by the Chicago Association of Realtors Commercial Forum, and was featured in the Wall Street Journal.
Prior to Interra Realty, Jon Morgan was a managing director at a local real estate brokerage company where he focused on Investment property sales throughout Chicagoland. Jon started his career as a Licensed Financial Specialist with Wachovia Bank, a diversified financial services company, and was responsible for providing a wide variety of investment and banking products. Jon is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois and received his Bachelor of Finance degree from The Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University.

Justin Ross joined Interra after having served as Director of Commercial brokerage at his former company. Previous to that, he held the position with Sibley Partners, where he built a team of brokers from the ground up. Justin’s seven years of multi-family disposition include employment at a national firm which was ranked Chicago’s top producer of apartment sales (routinely closing more than $50 million annually). In 2005, Justin helped launch one of Chicago’s most prominent boutique multi-family brokerage firms. During his tenure with the organization, Justin contributed to the listing, sales, and closure of more than $100 million in apartments—nearly 1,500 units. Before entering the Commercial Real Estate industry, Justin co-owned and operated an internet-based marketing company which specialized in Chicagoland restaurants and bars. Justin is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He is also a member of the Illinois Alumni Real Estate Forum and the Young Real Estate Professionals of Chicago (YREP). Brad is recognized for providing property owners, converters, builders, and investors with forward-thinking solutions as he assists in developing a strategy specifically tailored to meet their real estate investment goals. Brad's comprehensive knowledge of the Chicagoland real estate market combined with his proven ability to close real estate transactions has allowed him to not only meet, but exceed his client's real estate goals. Prior to joining Interra, Brad worked as Managing Director at a local real estate brokerage company where he focused on investment property sales throughout the Chicagoland area. Brad was previously a sales associate and leasing manager for a prominent Chicago-based residential real estate firm where he sold over $5M of condos at one project and managed in excess of 500 residential units. Brad complements his work with Interra by participating in a wide-range of local organizations, including the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, Young Real Estate Professionals of Chicago (YREP), and the Southside Builders Association. A Chicago-area native, Brad also gives back to his local community by serving on the Board of Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Young Professionals Leadership Committee in Chicago. To balance his professional activities, he remains an active baseball player and enjoys experiencing all that Chicago has to offer. Ted Stratman joined Interra Realty in October of 2010. Prior to that he was an associate at a local real estate investment brokerage company where he concentrated primarily on asset valuation, client development, and transactional analysis. His responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of the underwriting and valuation of multi-family investment opportunities as well as monitoring current market and neighborhood trends for the preparation of Interra Realty’s quarterly real estate trend reports. Prior to working in commercial brokerage, Ted worked at US Bank in the Commercial Real Estate lending division assisting in the underwriting of commercial real estate developments and analysis of credit markets.

Christian Arai joined Interra Realty, LLC in February of 2011. Christian started his career in the real estate industry as a commercial appraiser in 2003. His client base includes but is not limited to lender institutions, private equity groups, individual property owners and developers. Christian has a deep understanding of the real estate market and has appraised property types ranging from land, multi-family, retail, office, and industrial to various special purpose property types.
Christian has been an active commercial real estate broker since 2008. Christian started his broker career focused on retail and mixed use assets. For the past few years his focus has been on multifamily and mixed use assets. His knowledge and experience of the market and his expertise in the valuation of properties has been further enhanced by his perspective on valuation from both the appraisal and brokerage side and greatly assists his client’s ability to maximize their investment and real estate objectives.

Craig Martin joined Interra Realty in March of 2012. He brings a wide range of real estate knowledge gained over the last five years working in many different strategic rolls for a variety of real estate firms. Before joining Interra Realty, Craig worked at GEM Realty Capital, a Chicago based real estate private equity firm. At GEM, Craig focused his attention on the asset management and financial reporting of a diverse real estate portfolio including multi-family buildings, student housing apartments, hotels and office buildings. Prior to working in private equity, Craig was an auditor at Ernst & Young in the real estate practice servicing Chicago based companies. Craig is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Illinois, a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) and a member of the Young Real Estate Professionals of Chicago (YREP). Kris Krisco joined Interra Realty in December of 2012. Throughout college and into his early twenties, Kris gained a wide range of knowledge in the Commercial Real Estate sector working for family owned and operated company Bern Realty. From multi-family and retail development, to leasing and accounting, Kris quickly grew to become an accomplished broker, managing the office. In 2010, in hopes of gaining a greater comprehension of both commercial construction and commercial sales, Kris moved to a start-up specialty construction company as a managing member. In negotiating over 50 construction jobs in 21 different states, he was instrumental in securing national rebranding programs for Nissan, Volkswagen, Chrysler, and Wal-Mart.

Benjamin P. Chukerman
Ben joined Interra Realty in May 2011 as an associate with the primary responsibility of servicing client relationships of the Managing Principals and is now a Director with Interra. In addition to his new responsibilities as a Sales Broker, Ben also oversees the underwriting and valuation of assets for sale and directs the production and maintenance of offering memorandums and databases. Greg Cartwright joined Interra Realty as an Associate in August of 2012. Greg’s responsibilities include asset valuation, market research, and client development. Greg’s past experience includes financials and analytics. Most recently, Greg was a Registered Representative at the Chicago Board Options Exchange with Lakeshore Securities LLC. As a broker he developed, maintained, and created relationships with back and middle-offices of institutional banks, hedge funds, brokerages, clearing, and proprietary trading firms.
